Do AI glasses by Meta support voice assistants?

Powered by Meta AI, you can use “Hey Meta” with your AI glasses to answer questions in the moment, get information, spark creativity and express yourself hands-free, as well as take photos and videos, call, message, and control media and volume.

During workouts or training, you can use your AI glasses to:
  • Get real-time, voice-activated fitness stats and alerts (heart rate, pace and distance) via Meta AI and compatible Garmin devices (sold separately).
  • Capture photos and videos hands-free.
  • Listen to music with open-ear speakers in windy conditions up to 30 mph.
  • Get post-workout summaries and insights from synced compatible Garmin devices.

Most models are prescription-ready. All Ray-Ban Meta glasses and Oakley Meta HSTN support prescription lenses. Meta Ray-Ban Display accommodates Rx of -4.00 to +4.00. Prescription lenses can be ordered at the time of purchase.

To start live translation from Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, swipe left from the display home and select Captions. Then swipe right and select Speech Translate. The first time you use live translations, you’ll need to download the languages you want from the Meta AI mobile app. You can also start live translation by saying, “Hey Meta, start live translation” and change the languages in the Meta AI mobile app.

Meta Ray-Ban Display has a private 600×600 lens that uses a micro-projector and waveguide to show information right in your view. Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta glasses don’t include a built-in display.

A private in-lens screen, like in Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, is a tiny display only you can see. It shows notifications, directions or AI responses as a discreet heads-up overlay in your right lens.

The Meta Neural Band lets you control the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with subtle wrist and hand movements. The band uses EMG sensors to translate muscle signals into commands so you can scroll, manage media or capture photos and video, hands-free and privately.

All Ray-Ban Meta glasses connect to your phone via Bluetooth, letting you play music and audio content through the built-in directional speakers. You can also control playback and volume using the touchpad on the right temple or with voice commands.

Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses have up to 6 hours of mixed-use battery life per charge. With the compact, folding charging case, you can enjoy up to 24 hours of additional use.
