Resist is a true AAA title that has everything. It boasts a rich storyline, crisp graphics, buttery smooth mechanics, a multi-tiered upgrade system, a satisfying game loop, a decently-sized open world, variation of missions, achievements and collectibles, light puzzle-solving and thrilling combat. The voice is acting is great, even if the dialogue tries too hard to be cute and clever - and ends up being annoying instead most of the time. I also would have given the island city a more unique shape so that the player can more easily memorize the landscape. The campaign is on the shorter side, but there enough side missions to keep one's interest after completing all the main missions. Binary Mill is an amazing studio that clearly strives for top-notch products, as evidenced by Resist as well as other titles like Into Black. This is a must for your library.
