This game is good, but…
! SPOILERS AHEAD !
I really like how this game plays, the combat is really fun. It is really fun how many different ways I can kill enemies. The enemy AI is also pretty great, they act pretty identical to a real person, which makes it extremely satisfying to successfully get a sneak attack. It’s also really fun to explore the world and collect treasure in this game.
The crystal hunt mode is pretty good for a campaign. Travelling to levels in a boat feels similar to the walking dead VR which is one of my favourite video games. I like how the boss fights are giant stone golems that you steal the crystals from, and I like how they’re more powerful each time.
However, there is something I really REALLY hate about this game, it’s ending. This game has a real “nothing” ending, you go to the tower, you pull out an ancient sword, you get beamed up and zapped, and then the game ends. My expectations were through the roof with how this game was going to end, I was extremely disappointed when there was just nothing, no final boss, no big fight, not even any end reward. The ending is by far the worst part about this game. Everything else I absolutely love.
I recommend it.
