This game used to have simple graphics, but it boasted excellent performance with absolutely no frame drops. Thanks to that, I was able to push the rendering resolution from the default 1680 up to 2300 using QGO while still maintaining a perfect 90 FPS. I was genuinely impressed by the clarity and smoothness, and it made for a highly satisfying experience. Even with its simple visuals, they were crisp and clean, which didn't hinder the immersion at all - in fact, it was one of the game's greatest strengths. However, the recent Quest 3 graphics update from the developers has ruined everything. The frame rate is absolutely abysmal now. With this unnecessary graphics patch, the image quality has actually gotten worse, and the game fails to take any advantage of the Quest 3’s high-resolution panels and excellent lenses. Meta’s constant OS updates are making the system increasingly bloated, and standalone performance on the Quest 3 is getting worse by the day. Are you guys seriously unaware of this? Developers, please, just revert it back to the way it was. At the very least, give us the option to play the previous version.
