This is good software. Games play smoother than using the built in software (and for many years, this was the only choice to play PCVR without a USB tether.) Recently, the decided to change the software to stop pirates. Unfortunate, it came at the expense of legitimate purchasers (as anti-piracy normally does). In my use case it would reduce the usefulness of the software for about 50% of the time I would use it. The dev spent some time researching an alternative that is not as aggressive when it comes to calling home. I believe it is a decent balance betweeny use as a customer and his desire to reduce piracy. (though, I still think it rarely hurts pirate's while it does hurt your actual customers. It's also a shame he had to take time to research another version of protection and spend more time updating the software. It's inexpensive enough and useful enough that there is zero reason to pirate it. OK, rant over. If you want to play games from your PC on your Quest 2 device, this is the best on the market. I run games off my laptop (gaming laptop) over a wifi 5 network with little to no problems. I can't tell the difference between tethered or untethered thanks to this software. And, to the dev, thank you for listening to our voices and creating a compromise.
