Evangelion being my favorite anime of all time, this VN absolutly scratches the itch. Most of the choice acting is outstanding, the two main charactures however come off as a bit monotone and there's a hand waive reason why, but I think if there was more emotion in them the story would have been way more impactful. The game does a lot right, the main charactures relationship is never drilled home so its whatever you made of it, lover? Close friend? Famly? Etc. The mech sequences are really boring as well but story is played out in them so its whatever. Overall tho I loved the story and enjoyed my journey with it and am sad its come to an end. If you'll excuse me I have to clean tears off my lenses...
