Several months later- I’ve delved into mapmaking and have truly enjoyed making maps for my teams as well as other players! This game continues to be my #1 - Come jump in a game with me, or check out one of my maps! VeronicaEva Guardians Frontline is exhilarating, offers a variety of mission types and constantly adding new maps to play, by far this is my #1 favorite game! I’ve read that others have described it as a mix between HALO, Starship Troopers, Starcraft, Helldivers and its own unique thing, which is TRUE, but it’s more than that. In this first person shooter, you have to strategize in real time to fight a variety of incredibly aggressive fire-breathing, ice-freezing, ground digging, jumping bugs, electric zappers, and even colossal and almost impossible to kill Queens. Throughout the game, you quickly use tools, and units such as robots, cannons, anti-air, tanks, mechs and more are feverishly dropped onto the field to aid in the cause. This game combines non-stop action and team collaboration (when working with a squad) to defeat waves of ferocious bugs. I am not the only one that has screamed or jumped in real life after an electrifying zapper shock! The types of missions include, Conquest, Survival, Protect & Defend and Domination. Each can be played single player or multiplayer with up to four players. There is also a variety of PVP games where teams of up to 8, including people or “bots” fight head to head, with or without bugs. In addition to the Galaxy Conquest, there are hundreds of community made maps which can be played on various levels, easy, normal, hard, or insane (my personal favorite). To engage the player further, you can actually make and share (if you choose) your own maps! The Guardians community is something that should also be mentioned. The players are amazing, new players are always welcomed and encouraged to ask questions if they don’t understand how to do something! The combined experience is unlike any other in VR.
