As terrifying as Alien Isolation
VR can make something 10 times scarier. I had seen IGN rank the original as the 10th best horror game of all time, and I got it. The original was remade for VR, and in my quest to find some horror, I got this game. I played night one in FnaF 1. Both animatronics were banging on my doors from both sides at 5 AM. I had 5 percent power left. And with just 2 percent left, It was 6 AM. I was hooked. I play Dead space, resident evil, and Alien isolation, (No silent hill just yet, but soon) And this got under my skin. Stalker enemies make these games much better. This one is purely a horror title, unlike the second one which is not, hence why I got this instead. This game does a great job of remaking classic games for VR, but there are a few issues:
There are no settings, just a weird height adjustment method that sent me through the roof.
Some cameras you can't see anything, at all. Mainly dining room in FnaF 1. This is probably on purpose though, I'm just noting it because you can clearly see it in the original.
It's a little annoying to have the Animatronics scream in Parts and Service, and have to restart over and over again.
Overall an absolute blast to play though.
I see animatronics in my dreams
