I didn't expect this game to leave the impression it has when I first started playing it. What they've done here is something I've waited my whole life for and they did an amazing job. When they say VR will get you involved, up out of your chair and sweating, this is what they're talking about! It's so much fun. In moments of boredom, outside the have, I find myself thinking about moments experienced in the game and laughing. The community has largely been helpful, cooperative and friendly. Everything about the combat works really well. From sword and board or dual wielding varied weapons to a bow and arrow and magic staves. The motion tracking follows impressively well. It can be a bit finicky at times but it's easy to figure out. The link between what you see and some crazy force tech, actually gives you a workout. If you allow yourself to be immersed in the world you see, you use your muscles. You'll feel like you were swinging that sword for two hours straight. All without the res sickness. The AI mobs have a few tricks. They effectively block, parry and bait you. They'll gang up on you and work you into corners. Then they kill you. And you'll keep going back for more.
