Oblivion is a 5 year old hidden gem!
IIf you’re reading this just buy it! Right now it’s 99 cents. And it will be the best 99 cents you have ever spent! If you miss the sale it’s still worth it!
The game itself starts you off not knowing what you are doing but unlike the other reviewers complaint of this, that’s the whole point of the game. It’s telling you a story as you progress. This isn’t a game to pick up and run through, you have to dive into the story and let it guide you.
The game goes from simple to creepy to morbid to terror and an anxiety level of horror that you’ll say nope and throw your headset across the room!
Simply embrace the story and the horror and you’re going to have a good time!
Trust me, this is a game you WANT to play through not knowing anything!
update:
Now that I have played through the game. Heres some tips that does not spoil the surprises! Do not look up the walkthroughs! Let it be a surprise!
The game is telling a story, you need to follow the objectives. The main and actually the only gotcha what appears to be a glitch but it’s not is when your asked to burn something in a fireplace. Not spoiling anything but there is an order to follow. Put item in fireplace THEN find the gas key and turn on the fireplace. If you do the opposite the game will lock you in with something you will not want to be with.
A huge tip I found very useful is when traveling, close every single door you open. KEEP ALL the doors closed at all times. The “somethings” will stay on their places for the most part. IF they hear you, they will look for you!
And so you know there are two endings based on the things you collect in the game. All wins the game, anything less is lose!
