The story picks up one year after the events of the original game. You play as a lonely but wise-cracking survivor who’s searching for the cause of the zombie apocalypse. You can wield pistols, shotguns, rifles, and even flamethrowers—or get in close and slice up your foes with new melee weapons like machetes, crowbars, and pickaxes.
