‘Asgard’s Wrath 2’ Turns Up the Heat With Blazing Battleground, the Latest Cosmic Event

There must always be balance. For the past month, the forces of shadow and darkness threatened to plunge the realms into an Endless Night. That curse has been thwarted—but now fire threatens us all.

The latest Cosmic Event for Asgard’s Wrath 2 sees the realms transformed into a Blazing Battleground. Surtur’s forces spread throughout the land. Flames creep unabated through the Duat and the Great Sand Sea. Without your intervention, the entire multiverse may come to resemble the burning depths of Muspelheim.

You must venture into the heart of Muspelheim and douse this fearsome fire at its source by completing this season’s Cosmic Objectives and Conquests include:

• Successfully parry attacks from Surtur’s forces to intimidate otherworldly forces.
• Collect Rubies to calm the fiery chaos.
• Find and diminish the burning flame spreading into the Duat.
• Defeat fire-attuned enemies to calm the otherworldly forces in the multiverse.

Completing objectives related to Blazing Battleground will net you a variety of unique rewards, including the skull-adorned Cursed Hunter Bow, Cursed Hunter Mine, and Cursed Hunter Shield. Four other weapons are up for grabs (including Trishula, the legendary trident of Shiva), plus the Dark Raven armor set, and a bunch of Muspelheim-themed cosmetics, like the new Sizzle emote.
