Feast or Famine: ‘Asgard’s Wrath 2’ Kicks Off New ‘Harvest Doom’ Cosmic Event

The Nile River floods annually. It’s essential, bringing much-needed water to crops throughout Ancient Egypt. And it’s predictable—unless the gods decide to meddle, of course.

Today marks the beginning of “Harvest Doom,” the latest Cosmic Event for the award-winning Asgard’s Wrath 2. The Nile never flooded this year, a consequence of Sobek’s meddling. Famine looms, threatening to plunge the Realm into chaos. You must hunt and forage for food, cleanse the Nile of corruption, and make the harvest a time for feasting and friendship once again.

The denizens of the Great Sand Sea have put together a list of Cosmic Objectives and Conquests to complete, including:

• Find the overgrown pumpkins that have appeared in the Great Sand Sea.
• Fish out trash from the Nile’s waters to cleanse the river before the harvest.
• Collect a bunch of eggs to contribute to the annual harvest.
• Complete the esophagus-themed dungeon floors in the Uncharted Rifts to quench Tanuu’s hunger before it destroys the multiverse.

For your diligent efforts, you’ll earn unique weapons, armor, and cosmetics. This month includes some iconic gear from the world of Greek Myth, including the sword Perseus used to slay Medusa, Zeus’s shield, and Heracles’s olive-branch club. You can also unlock a full set of Chimera-themed armor, a laurel wreath adornment, a bodybuilder pose fit for a resident of Mount Olympus, and more.
