‘Asgard’s Wrath 2’ Secures Five Nominations and Honors at The Webby Awards

Sanzaru Games’ tremendous achievement with Asgard’s Wrath 2 continues to garner deserved praise as we roll through 2024, most recently by securing two nominations and three honors at this year’s edition of The Webby Awards. The epic-scale open-world RPG that’s available exclusively on Quest 2 and 3 has been nominated for Best Narrative Experience and Best Game in the AI, Metaverse & Virtual - General Metaverse Experiences category, and it’s also been named an Honoree for Best Features in the AI, Metaverse & Virtual - General Metaverse Experiences category, as well as in the Games category for Best Art Direction and Best Game Design.

When Asgard’s Wrath 2 released late last year, critics and fans alike fell in love with the world Sanzaru had created, with IGN even awarding the game one of its highly-coveted 10/10 scores, stating: “This open-world action RPG sets a new gold standard for VR—and competes with the best anywhere. ... Asgard’s Wrath 2 is the kind of landmark game-changer that only comes around once in a blue moon. ... Meta Quest 3’s killer app has arrived.”
