Become the Knight: ‘Batman: Arkham Shadow’ is Out Now on Meta Quest 3 and 3S
It’s time. The Bat-Signal is lit. Gotham City is in danger, and you’re the only one who can save it in Batman: Arkham Shadow, out now for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S.
Batman: Arkham Shadow is a brand-new entry in the acclaimed Arkham series, developed by Camouflaj and Oculus Studios in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC. Exclusive to Meta Quest 3 and 3S, Batman: Arkham Shadow takes full advantage of these powerful new headsets to immerse players in the world of Batman and Arkham like never before.
Explore The Bowery, the Monarch Theater, and other iconic Gotham City landmarks as you race to save the city and its inhabitants from the Rat King and his cultish following. Set between the events of Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Asylum, the Rat King will prove to be the most difficult challenge Batman has faced at this point in his career, pushing him to his limits and forcing him to confront the flawed man beneath the mask.

Camouflaj has expertly adapted the Arkham experience to VR, taking particular inspiration from Arkham Asylum and its interconnected level design. Grapple to the rooftops and then grab hold of your cape to glide down onto unsuspecting enemies. Dish out devastating punches and counter incoming blows with a made-for-VR version of Arkham’s trademark freeform combat, or return to the shadows, swinging from one vantage point to another, picking off foes one-by-one.
Of course, Batman isn’t considered the World’s Greatest Detective because of his fists. Arkham’s famed Detective Vision returns as well, enabling you analyze crime scenes and turn back time to see events as they happened.
Batman: Arkham Shadow is packed with secrets, rewarding those who explore off the beaten path to discover an overlooked vent or solve a hidden puzzle. There’s more to Batman: Arkham Shadow than meets the eye.
The game’s deep and emotional story is brought to life by an incredible voice cast, including Roger Craig Smith reprising the role of Batman, Troy Baker as Harvey Dent, Tara Strong as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Mark Rolston as James Gordon, Khary Payton as Otis Flannagan, Earl Baylon as Lyle Bolton, Chelsea Kane as Barbara Gordon, Martin Jarvis as Alfred Pennyworth, and, newly revealed, Elijah Wood as Dr. Jonathan Crane.

Today’s release is only the beginning for Batman: Arkham Shadow. Over the next few months, Camouflaj will provide free updates to the game including additional Challenge Maps, a Character Viewer, localized voice acting, and more.
