Blumhouse Enhanced Cinema is the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit, whether you’re a long-time fan of the films or experiencing them for the first time. From the comfort of your couch, you can binge on some candy corn and transform your space into your own haunted house. And thanks to our partnership with Universal Pictures, Nexus Studios, and iconic horror company Blumhouse, it’s available now on the Meta Horizon Store.

Announced at Connect 2025, Blumhouse Enhanced Cinema gives horror fans a new way to experience fan-favorite films M3GAN and The Black Phone. The scares bleed off the screen, with immersive effects and Dolby Atmos spatial sound so the cinema surrounds you.

Watch M3GAN in the woods as your walls fall away and reveal a dark, misty forest. Shield your face as shattered glass flies off the screen, and brace yourself for impact as explosions fill your room. From chilling ambient effects to the eerie presence of characters close by, this is horror made to be felt — not just watched.

For those who prefer more active jump scares, take a trip to the Blumhouse Horrorverse for a round of M3GAN Tag, which launches later this month. Pull the new lever that’ll appear next to the Survival Lockdown mini-game, and you’ll summon M3GAN herself. She’ll hunt down players one by one, turning players into other M3GANs with each tag — trying to corrupt everyone before time runs out.

Can’t decide which experience is right for you? Check ’em both out! We’ve introduced a two-way portal, letting you travel back and forth from the Blumhouse Enhanced Cinema app to Blumhouse Horrorverse and vice-versa. You can easily transition from a solo horror fest to hanging out with other fans and back again.

Blumhouse has been redefining horror for a generation. And we’re thrilled to partner with them to help usher in a new era of immersive horror.
