Compete in the World’s First VR Esports League: VR Challenger Brackets Now Open!
Last month, we announced the VR Challenger League—the biggest VR esports event yet. Today, we’re excited to announce that our first brackets are now open online!
Together with Intel and ESL, we’re putting a prize pool worth more than $200K on the table for Summer of Rift’s esports blowout. Players and teams across North America and Europe will compete for spellcasting mastery in The Unspoken and zero-g dominance in Echo Arena.
Today, we’re kicking things off with online qualifiers for The Unspoken, followed by Echo Arena starting August 24. The qualifiers then feed into a series of regional finals:
- Oculus Connect, October 11 – 12
- ESL One Hamburg, October 28 – 29
- IEM Oakland, November 18 – 19
- DreamHack Winter, November 30 – December 3
All of that leads up to the main event at IEM Katowice in Poland, where VR’s first esports league and the world’s largest competitive gaming event collide.
We’re thrilled to help bring VR esports into the mainstream! For more information or to register for an online qualifier, visit vr.eslgaming.com.
