Share Your Status: Connect Your Discord Account to Your Meta Horizon Profile
At Connect, we announced that Discord, the communications platform for gaming, will launch a dedicated app on Meta Quest in 2026. While we don’t have more to share on that (yet!), we do have some exciting news ahead of the holidays: Starting today, we’re rolling out the ability to connect your Discord account to your Meta Horizon profile. Once they’re connected, you can automatically share which games, apps, and experiences you’re playing on Quest or the Meta Horizon mobile app directly to your Discord.

How to Connect Your Meta Horizon Profile to Your Discord Account
Getting set up is simple.
- Web: Visit the account center app connections page.
- Mobile: In the Meta Horizon mobile app, tap the menu > open the Account Center > tap Your information and permissions > tap App connections > on the Discord selection, tap Connect.
On the Discord app connection row, tap Connect. From there, sign in with your Discord credentials to link your Meta Horizon account, then boom: Your Discord account and Meta Horizon profile are connected. Easy peasy.
Please note that you’ll need to set your Horizon Active Status to either Online or Joinable to share your Meta Quest and Meta Horizon activity with your friends on Discord. You can update your Horizon Active Status by visiting your Horizon Profile page > tap Edit Profile > scroll down to Active Status.
The ability to connect your Discord account to your Meta Horizon profile is rolling out gradually, so we can squash any bugs that pop up along the way. If you’re not able to link them right away, please sit tight — good things come to those who wait.
