Find Love in ‘POPULATION: ONE’ With the New Duos Mode, Part of the Heartbreakers Event Starting Today
Grab a loved one (or maybe just a few friends), and get ready for POPULATION: ONE’s goodies-filled Heartbreakers Event on the Quest and Rift Platforms.
From now until February 22, players dropping into the popular battle royale shooter can collect Valentine’s Day letters scattered throughout the map by equipping them in their inventory or taking them from fallen enemies. Depositing the letters in marked mailboxes will give you new weapons to use during the match. The more letters you mail, the better your loot will be!
You can obtain rare 5-star weapons and permanently unlock some Valentine’s-themed skins. Check out the full list of free rewards below, including the amount of letters you’ll need to unlock them.

- Heart-stopper MP5: 25 love letters
- Heart-stopper S85: 50 love letters
- Heart-stopper DT11: 75 love letters

- Dapper PJ outfit: 200 love letters
If you want to spice up your loadouts even more, you can grab the optional Love Hurts bundle. For 450 Bureau Gold, you’ll get a trio of hot pink weapon skins. You can purchase Bureau Gold through the in-game shop.
That’s not all: BigBox VR is making the Heartbreakers update extra romantic by adding POPULATION: ONE’s first-ever Duos mode. Duos lets you form two-person teams instead of the usual three-person squad, making it perfect for a thrilling date night with your significant other. But it doesn’t matter which way you choose to play because the limited-time event is available in both Duos and Squads.
