Immerse yourself in a galaxy far, far away with a VR adventure for the ages. The exciting conclusion to ILMxLAB’s VR action shooter epic, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge - Last Call, releases for the Oculus Quest Platform on September 15 for $9.99 USD. You can get the entire package including Last Call for $34.99 USD.
If you missed the previous trailer, you can check that out here. But to really make sure your aim is true and your sights are set, check out thrilling new gameplay footage in the extended trailer down below:
In the above trailer, you’ll catch glimpses of new characters brought to life by a talented group of actors, including Hondo Ohnaka, voiced by Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin, The Princess and the Frog); Neeva, voiced by Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog, Dreamgirls, Them); stormtrooper leader Lt. Gauge, voiced by Daman Mills (Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Final Fantasy VII Remake); mobster Bogs Triff, voiced by Darin DePaul (Overwatch, Final Fantasy XV); and assassin droid IG-88, voiced by Rhys Darby (Yes Man, Flight of the Concords). Not to mention C-3PO, voiced by none other than the one and only Anthony Daniels.
With Last Call, fans will experience the culmination of the story featuring the same droid repair technician who players controlled from the first part of the Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge adventure. There are new adventures across the strange and dangerous world of Batuu, new Tales to experience covering new areas of lore in the galaxy, and a multitude of new items to try out at Mubo’s Workshop.
In the finale of your adventure, you’ll take on the task of recovering an ancient artifact as you navigate new environments on Batuu including the Cavern of the Moons and the Sardeevem Chasm. New enemies, new puzzles, and new adventures (including a run-in with the First Order) abound in this gripping climax.
The two new Tales will put you in the shoes of IG-88, a class four assassin droid, as a top-rank bounty hunter, and will also let you continue the story of Jedi Knight Ady-Sun Zee many years later in the High Republic era as you teach your new padawan, Nooa, the ways of the Force.
Thanks to the wireless room-scale VR freedom afforded by Quest, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge proves that anyone can be a hero. Leave your mark on the galaxy on September 15 when Last Call releases for the Quest Platform.
