Try Out ‘Asgard’s Wrath 2’ and ‘Contractors Showdown’ for Free This Weekend!

Surprise! We’d originally planned to run this summer’s Free Weekends series through August 12, but everyone’s been having such a great time, we decided to add one final weekend and close out the summer with a bang.

Starting this Friday, August 16 at 3PM (your local time) and running through Monday, August 19 at 1AM (also local time), you’ll be able to access the award-winning Asgard’s Wrath 2 and Contractors Showdown.

Better yet, we’re expanding how long you’ll get to try out both games this weekend. Instead of our usual one-hour trials, you’ll be able to play Asgard’s Wrath 2 and Contractors Showdown for three hours each.

Asgard’s Wrath 2 is one of the most ambitious VR games to-date, an enormous open-world adventure spanning both Norse and Egyptian mythology. Betrayed by Loki, you must use the powers of a god to survive the perils of the Great Sand Sea and save the realms. Battle fearsome monsters with realistic melee combat, delve into dungeons in search of legendary loot, and uncover secrets hidden beneath the dunes as you guide heroes to their inevitable destinies. Even three hours is barely enough to scratch the surface of Asgard’s Wrath 2, but we hope you’ll get a taste.

Contractors Showdown is a tense battle royale that will have you holding your breath during firefights. Players drop into a vast map that measures over 16 square kilometers, then scramble to become the last team standing. Use hills and buildings to get the drop on enemies, or rely on a quick trigger finger, steady aim, and a smart loadout to keep you safe. With 60 players per match, Contractors Showdown is like nothing else you’ve played in VR.
