Meta Quest 3 pre-orders are now live, but what’re you going to do with that shiny new headset when you get your hands on it on October 10? Games? Fitness? Entertainment? Yes3! Quest 3 has all of the above in spades, and we’re here to help you get the lay of the land.

Game Big or Go Home

Quest developers have built the strongest VR ecosystem in the world, with over $2 billion spent on games and apps in the Quest Store to date. More than 100 new and upgraded titles are coming to Quest 3 this calendar year alone, and more than half of them will showcase mixed reality. And because Quest 3 is backwards compatible, you get access to the world’s best library of 500+ immersive titles on day one. Slash to the rhythm in Beat Saber, squad up with friends for some battle royale action in POPULATION: ONE, or work on your wellness and get those gains with Supernatural—the choice is yours.

And thanks to new hardware advancements, the Quest library of content will look and play better on Quest 3. Take The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners for example. Skydance Interactive has been able to add more details—and walkers—to their scenes, take advantage of increased draw distances, and boost the overall resolution of their textures.

The highly anticipated Asgard’s Wrath 2 is exclusive to Quest, with visceral combat, epic environments, and gorgeous visuals that take advantage of the latest headset’s performance capabilities. In addition to the entire adventure, players on Quest 3 and Pro headsets will have access to a special MR mode in which Loki’s minions appear from Anomalies that can emerge and open from the walls and ceiling of your room. Asgard’s Wrath 2 launches December 15—and it’s included with every new purchase of Quest 3.*

Can’t wait for launch day? The Meta Horizon Worlds team is crafting a custom Asgard’s Wrath 2 World due out in late November. In Asgard’s Wrath 2 Oasis, fans can explore a game environment created just for Worlds, unlock rewards like Avatar outfits, and meet other players to coordinate future leaderboard runs in the Uncharted Rifts. Stay tuned for more details on Asgard’s Wrath 2 Oasis coming to Worlds soon.

Of course, Asgard’s Wrath 2 isn’t the only upcoming title that lets you blend the physical and virtual worlds. Just take a look at Stranger Things VR. Soon, fans of the hit Netflix show will be able to turn their living room wall into a portal to the Upside Down. While the base game is coming to major VR headsets later this year, its MR content is exclusive to Quest.

There are many more big names and IPs coming, like Assassin’s Creed® Nexus VR, Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, and SEGA’s Samba de Amigo. And hit immersive platform Roblox just launched on the Quest Store today, so you can tap into over 50,000 experiences optimized for VR. Create, hang out with friends, and be anything you can imagine. Who’s up for a round of Rainbow Friends? 🌈

In LEGO® Bricktales, launching December 7, you’ll embark on an epic adventure across a world of beautiful LEGO® diorama biomes crafted brick by brick. Your journey will take you to the deepest jungle, sun-drenched deserts, a bustling city corner, a towering medieval castle, and tropical Caribbean islands. Help the minifigures of these worlds by solving puzzles and unlock new skills throughout the story to further explore these worlds and uncover the many secrets and mysteries they contain. Pre-order now to score an exclusive in-game outfit.

And the launch of Xbox Cloud Gaming this December means you can play Halo Infinite, Minecraft Legends, Forza Horizon 5, and hundreds of other high-quality Xbox games on Quest with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and a connected controller— all on a massive 2D screen you can take with you anywhere.**

Of course, with so much to choose from, things can get a little overwhelming. So we launched our Meta Quest+ subscription service earlier this year to take the guesswork out of building your library. Each month, you get access to two hand-picked titles ranging from core to cozy. We just announced October’s games—tactical mil-sim Onward and a little city-building game appropriately titled Little Cities. Join now and get your first month free on us.*** After that, it’s just $7.99 USD a month. Or pre-order the 512GB model of Quest 3 and get a free six-month Quest+ subscription included with your purchase.*

Working on Our Fitness

But you know what they say: Work hard, play harder. You’ve gotta justify all those games with some gains. 🏋️

LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT is adding an MR mode, so you can turn your home into the ultimate home gym. FitXR is bringing Zumba to VR for the very first time. Headspace is launching a great app soon that uses the immersion of VR to help you be more mindful. And Supernatural’s stunning locales get an upgrade thanks to Quest 3’s advanced resolution. Even better, the team is working to make fitness accessible to more people—so Supernatural is now only $9.99 USD per month, starting today.****

Entertainment Tonight... & Tomorrow, & the Next Day...

OK, you’ve conquered the leaderboards and worked up a sweat—now’s the perfect time to kick back, relax, and unwind with some immersive entertainment like only Quest 3 can deliver.

Xtadium is streaming immersive NBA games and live MMA fights through UFC Fight Pass. And if you want something a little more low-key, you can hang out and share some cheese and crackers with your new roommates, Wallace & Gromit.

You can catch your favorite artists perform at Red Rocks and iHeartRadio Live concerts from the front row (no ticket required). And you can watch your favorite cat videos on YouTube VR, or movies, TV, and sports from streaming apps like Peacock and Pluto TV.

The Future of Work

Millions of people have already used Quest’s workplace and productivity apps, and mixed reality is only going to accelerate that trend.

For businesses that want to deploy Quest, we have a wide range of business-critical work apps to help. And top-tier enterprise software makers like Microsoft and Adobe have some great new offerings of their own. Adobe Substance 3D Modeler launched earlier this year, letting you sculpt in VR, on desktop, or between both surfaces. And Microsoft Mesh for Teams is now entering public preview, so you can easily join immersive meetings.

Coming to Quest by the end of the year, Microsoft 365 will let you leverage your favorite productivity apps like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. And Windows 365 will soon offer a new way to securely stream the Windows experience to Quest, including your personal apps, content, and settings.

Last but not least, to help businesses unlock their full potential, next month we’ll launch Meta Quest for Business. It allows companies to manage devices at the user, app, and device levels to improve team productivity and keep your businesses safe. And it comes with enterprise-grade customer support.

So maybe the question isn’t: What’re you going to do with your new Quest 3? But instead, it’s: What won’t you do with it?
