Horizon Worlds Spotlight: META COURT
Welcome back to our weekly spotlight on the people building for Horizon Worlds and their amazing creations.
Last week, we talked with Souperrr, the creator of the beautiful event and lounge space London Eye about how he got interested in VR and his journey to building in Horizon Worlds.
This week, we grabbed our briefcase, put on our suit, and walked into a Bar—no, not that kind of bar: a court of law—in this case, META COURT, from creator herbertjoycejr.

To very badly paraphrase Vanilla Ice, if you’ve got a problem—real or imagined—in Horizon Worlds, now you have a place to solve it: META COURT.
This realistic-looking courtroom gives you and your fellow Horizon Worlds citizens a place to cosplay adjudication. There’s a judge’s bench, a defendant’s table, a plaintiff’s table, and room for a jury. And, yes, of course there’s a gavel (along with a button that makes a gavel-pounding sound).
META COURT can get a little chaotic, but it can also be a terrific place to get together with friends and strangers alike to playact the legal process. The question to ask, naturally, is whether you want to conduct a civil or criminal trial, so decide in advance whether you need a unanimous or a majority jury decision to decide the case.
And since the courtroom can be fashioned for the legal system of numerous countries—including England’s—you may need to get a barrister’s wig before you make your appearance. META COURT is now in session. All rise!
