‘VR Games Showcase’ Set to Show Off Big Upcoming Games on June 23
Summer's in full swing, and with a heap of new VR games on the horizon, it's time for another VR Games Showcase to show off everything fans can look forward to coming to Meta Quest. The next streaming event airs on June 23, presenting trailers, new looks at titles big and small, and new info on updates to major releases.
Headlining this VRGS is PAYDAY: Aces High — we'll get a new look at the four-player first-person shooter heist game, and the showcase will be followed by a PAYDAY: Aces High direct that'll give a deep dive into what to expect when the PAYDAY series makes the leap into VR.
We'll also see more of Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades 2, a ridiculous roguelike shooter set in a crumbling megastructure. Expect new looks and trailers for The Lightkeepers, a spooky cooperative action game in which you and your friends will fend off fiends from the deep, and tactical sci-fi shooter Guardians Planetfall, and a whole lot more — as well as big new world-first reveals.
Also on the docket are updates for games that are already beloved on Meta Quest, like rhythm game Maestro, in which you play an orchestra conductor, and slick, speedy racer VRacer Hoverbike. And you can tune in to the VRGS pre-show to get the latest on a whole slate of indie games coming to VR as well.
You can stream the VR Games Showcase at 11 am PT on June 23, with the pre-show starting at 10:45 am PT, on the VRGS YouTube channel. You can also keep up with the showcase on the VRGS website, and on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X.
