Meta Lab Brings Hands-On AI and VR Experiences to Best Buy Stores Nationwide

We’re excited to bring the Meta Lab retail experience to Best Buy with over 50 dedicated experiential Meta Lab spaces launching soon inside of Best Buy locations across the United States and in Canada. Each Meta Lab @ Best Buy is a sleek, roughly 900-square-foot “store-in-store” designed for hands-on discovery, where people can explore Meta's expansive lineup of AI glasses and VR headsets through interactive demos, smart mirrors, personalized fittings and more — all with support from dedicated Meta Sales Specialists.

These innovative spaces are a natural extension of our Meta Lab experience, allowing customers to try before they buy with tailored demos from a Meta Sales Specialist. The first Meta Lab @ Best Buy will open in June, with additional locations rolling out through the summer. By the end of 2026, Meta Lab will be available in over 50 North American locations.

In every Meta Lab @ Best Buy location, customers can work with a dedicated Meta Sales Specialist to explore the largest assortment of Meta products available in big-box retail. Here's what to expect:

Unlock the power of AI glasses: Try on popular AI glasses including Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, and more. Discover how to control Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with subtle hand gestures using the Meta Neural Band without ever taking out a phone. Meta Sales Specialists are on hand to guide the experience so customers can explore everything AI glasses have to offer.
Try every style: A dedicated style wall highlights an expansive assortment of AI glasses from Meta, letting customers get a hands-on fit and feel for every frame. Nearby displays use interactive UV light to show how lenses transition colors in different light settings.
Dive into immersive VR: Experience your favorite game or movie in theater mode, or the latest HIIT workout like you’ve never experienced it before. Check out all the fun packed inside the Quest 3 and Quest 3S VR headsets with a guided immersive demo.
