Encore: ‘Beat Saber’ Launches New Linkin Park x Mike Shinoda Music Pack
Today, we’re thrilled to announce and launch Beat Saber’s Linkin Park x Mike Shinoda Music Pack, featuring a new unreleased song from singer/songwriter, producer, and Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda, alongside current and iconic hits from the artist and band.
This is an historic moment for Beat Saber as it marks the first time the game has served as the debut platform for a major recording artist. Mike Shinoda’s new track “Already Over” is exclusively launching today on Beat Saber ahead of its official global release. Not only is this a special moment for Shinoda, it reflects Beat Saber’s mission to bring players the music they love in the most immersive format possible.
“I’m beyond excited to once again be partnering with Beat Saber to give fans and players even more music by me, Linkin Park, and Fort Minor, and I’m especially excited to share my new single ‘Already Over’ through the platform,” says Mike Shinoda. “It’s an honor that Linkin Park is the first band to have a second music pack, and I hope everyone enjoys playing the new tracks.”

Fans have already been slashing their hearts out to the original Linkin Park Music Pack, which is one of the game’s top three best-selling music packs historically. Now, we’re excited to follow it up with this new eight-song pack that includes the debut of “Already Over,” another new track from Shinoda, three recently released Linkin Park songs (including this year’s hit song “Lost”), two highly popular and often requested tracks for the band’s back catalog, and a song from Shinoda’s side project Fort Minor.
