Meta Horizon Worlds Spotlight: Meta Valley
Welcome back to our weekly spotlight on the people building for Meta Horizon Worlds and their amazing creations.
Last week, we spoke with SimonJosh about creating the popular comedy club The Unknown Theater and how collaborating with someone super-connected in the comedy community makes for richer shows, time after time.
For the next three weeks, we’re shining the spotlight on the Worlds creators who won The Game Awards Future Class competition: Team N0M4DVR, Team MsMust, and Team Cthunicorn.
So this week, let’s take a look at Meta Valley from Team N0M4DVR. It’s a fun Wild West town where you can play games, check out an old locomotive, try to break into a bank vault, aaaaand ... even find yourself in the clink inside the sheriff’s office when you get caught.

It’s a scene anyone who’s ever seen a Western will recognize: a main street with a bunch of wooden facades. Nothing modern. A windmill. A bank, a general store, a church, and not much more. You can almost picture the Wanted posters in the sheriff’s office. And, in fact, there are wanted posters in the sheriff’s office. Are you on one of them?
Welcome to Meta Valley, from Team N0M4DVR. This nostalgic world takes us way back, to the 19th Century, a place where you can imagine gunslingers and bounty hunters wandering the dirt streets, where there’s entertainment all night long, and where the pious and the devious congregate together in the chapel—and who knows where else.
It’s a great place to hang out with friends, or make new ones, and play the many games you can find around town. There’s horseshoes, a word game, a treasure hunt, and a ton of discovery if you want to make your way into that giant vault without getting locked up.
You might not see the horses clip-clopping around town, but if you use your imagination, you can picture them. So saddle up!
