Meta Horizon Worlds v131 is here! This week, we’re beginning to test a few new features to improve your experience in Worlds, including mute assist, new quests, and limited-edition rewards. We also fixed some bugs that were impacting world builders.

Quality of Life Improvements

  • Mute assist: Based on your selected comfort level—off, low, medium, or high—mute assist can either automatically mute expletives spoken by others or present a quick-access pop-up to the mute button. During testing, this feature will be limited to certain worlds including Venues, Bad Roommates, Bobber Bay, and Arena Clash, and it may not be accessible to everyone. Once the setting is configured, you can focus on having fun and building meaningful connections with less distractions. Learn more about how to use mute assist in Worlds.
  • Quests and limited-edition rewards: We’re continuing to experiment with the new quest and reward features. Throughout October, for those in the test group, new quests will be added to the quest board that can be unlocked for access to limited-edition event rewards. For those not in the initial test group, no need to worry—more quests and rewards will be coming to everyone soon!
  • We made some design updates to the way stickers attach to your name tag. When you add stickers to your name tag and you also have a title at the bottom, like the rank you’ve achieved in Super Rumble or your pronouns, they’ll now be affixed to the four outer corners.
