|

Welcome to Meta Horizon Worlds v92! This week, our attention was focused on investigating bugs, some of which were introduced in the last release. We’re currently working through these and will post updates when we resolve these issues in upcoming release notes. We appreciate the community feedback, and for reporting the details, screenshots, and videos of these bugs to assist our investigation.

Bug Fixes

Creators

  • We fixed a bug so that players no longer shake when on a moving platform with others so that they now remain stable. [UserVoice]
  • Attachable behaviors should now match the properties assigned to them. [UserVoice]
  • Grabbable physics object should no longer generate TriggerExit event on first grab. [UserVoice]

Known Issues

General

  • In Arena Clash games, we’re investigating a bug where players can’t jump as high as normal until after their first respawn.
  • There is an issue with the microphone not working properly for Horizon.exe avatars.

Creators

  • The Arena Clash template and some worlds that have used the template have an issue preventing some players from fully playing the game. We’re working on this issue and will provide updates here.
  • We fixed a bug that prevented creators from seeing the same environment in Build Mode and when the world was published. This changed the behavior some creators were using where they would spawn and then despawn an Environment gizmo to change the skybox. Our recommendation is to keep only the active Environment gizmo in the world when changing the skybox. We’re investigating ways to help creators who have implemented the spawn/despawn actions.
  • Some creators are unable to travel to their worlds in Build Mode.
  • There is an issue where triggers aren’t being detected in some worlds. [UserVoice]
  • There are some worlds that have heavy scripting which causes Worlds to freeze when creators are in Edit Mode. We’re working on a fix, but in the meantime, rebooting the headset gets creators back in. [UserVoice]
  • There is an issue where creators can no longer link doors to their own worlds that are published, but undiscoverable. This impacts progression worlds where you need to finish one world before starting the next.
