Meta Quest v67 Update: Movable Panels for Multitasking and Creators Come to Horizon Feed
The Meta Quest v67 software update begins rolling out soon, adding creator content to Horizon Feed and enabling experimental support for moving and rearranging 2D apps in your virtual space, plus a Theater View for when you need some extra focus.
As always, our software updates roll out gradually, so you might not see v67 available on your headset just yet—but don’t worry, it’s coming! Read on for more details.
Rearrange Your Space
The v67 update adds experimental support for moving and rearranging 2D apps in your Home environment. Replacing Meta Quest’s default three-panel groupings, you can now grab and move panels around your space to create the most comfortable (or the most optimal) experience for whatever you’re doing, whether idly watching a video on YouTube while folding laundry or listening to music while knocking out some work.

You can arrange up to three panels in a new “hinged” layout, and then place up to three more panels anywhere you’d like, creating the ultimate multitasking setup.

If you need to focus, you can also click the Theater View button on any panel’s control bar to automatically expand its size, bring it front-and-center, and dim everything else. And sure, it works for movies—but try it out while typing up a document or browsing the internet. Powerful.
Creator Content in Horizon Feed
We’re bringing content from your favorite creators to the Horizon Feed on Meta Quest and the Meta Quest mobile app, so you can easily catch up with the latest news, discover new apps, or just find something entertaining to watch. We’re teaming up with creators like A Wolf in VR, SteveKnows, m155yu, and more.

You’ll be able to like and share content from creators you see, making the Horizon Feed a more social experience. And not only will this new content introduce you to new games and apps, but we’re including destination tagging so you can easily jump into anything that catches your eye.
This feature is rolling out gradually, so you might not see it immediately after v67 installs on your headset or on your Meta Quest mobile app. Stay tuned!
If you are an active creator on other social networks and are interested in participating as a publisher, please let us know in the Meta Quest Community Discord!
Check out the v67 Release Notes for a more in-depth look at these features and more, and we’ll be back soon with another Meta Quest software update.
