Releases Recap: March 6 – 10
This week, we released a bunch of titles and updates across the Meta Quest Platform. Here’s a rundown of the highlights:
Guardians Frontline
In Guardians Frontline, you play as an elite soldier from the Galactic Federation in a total war against the bugs. Guardians use a variety of powerful abilities, guns, and vehicles to annihilate their enemies and can instantly summon new structures on the battlefield to help them out, including gun turrets, mechs, and armed combat robots. The game features a single-player campaign where your role as the Guardian is to protect Federation planets during a conflict in the galaxy, and you can tackle these missions with up to four people in cooperative multiplayer. Guardians Frontline also has a PvP mode where up to eight players can test their armies and powers against one another.

Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom
Peaky Blinders is known for its dark and thrilling depiction of the criminal underworld of post-World War I England. And now you have the chance to experience it for yourself—working with the Shelby family, making morally ambiguous choices, and fighting in fast-paced shootouts—in Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom. The King’s Ransom has you playing as the newest member of the titular street gang on a mission to retrieve Winston Churchill’s Red Box, a briefcase containing the identities of every British agent around the globe. Work alongside Peaky Blinders boss Tommy Shelby (actor Cillian Murphy reprises his role for the game), his hot-headed brother Arthur (Paul Anderson), and other familiar characters as enemy factions close in to steal the box for themselves.

POPULATION: ONE - Free-to-Play
Since its launch in 2020, POPULATION: ONE has solidified its position as one of the top-sellers on the Meta Quest Platform, and it continues to grow in popularity and player base. Walkabout Mini Golf: Upside Town
It’s easy to get turned around in the city, to feel like everything’s just a little topsy-turvy. But that’s especially true in Upside Town, the new gravity-defying course for Walkabout Mini Golf. Upside Town turns mini golf on its head, on its side, on its feet, and then on its head again. It’s a city where the subway runs straight into the air and pigeons hang like bats—or maybe you’re the one that’s upside-down? Hard to say. This playful locale is paired with an equally playful mini golf course, with holes that extend onto the walls and ceiling, down fire escapes, around corners, and more. A physics-defying system of gravity fields permeates the neighborhood, so do your stretches and take an umbrella because you just never know which way things will roll.

The Light Brigade - Community Feedback Patch
Two weeks after launch, the new update for The Light Brigade contains more than 240 changes—including a bunch of balance tweaks (both weapons and enemies), new quality-of-life improvements, and a ton of customizable VR settings. Keep an eye out for some much requested features like changing the two-handed move speed when aiming versus not aiming, using the trigger to grab the weapon bolt slide, using the trigger to store ammo, and increased difficulty levels (NG+++). There are also myriad bug fixes that should improve the overall feel of the game for everyone. View the full list of changes.

ForeVR Pool - 9-Ball Update
ForeVR Pool brings the coolest pool halls from around the globe straight to your living room! Challenge friends, family, and in-game pros to a game of 8-ball pool—or, as of this week, 9-Ball. Get ready to aim, lock, and shoot across five immersive halls using 50 custom cues, optional aim assist target lines and match settings, and more, all while listening to tunes on a YouTube-powered jukebox.
