Go Head-to-Head Online Against Rival QBs in ‘NFL PRO ERA II,’ Out Today on Meta Quest
It’s week seven in this year’s National Football League season, and if you’re lucky, your favorite team might already be off to a strong start. But no matter how well your team is doing right now, you can become QB1 and take direct control of their season in NFL PRO ERA II. The latest quarterback simulator game from StatusPRO is out today on Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro for $29.99 USD, and it comes with a bunch of new features and improvements that make the on-the-field experience feel more immersive than ever before.
One of the new features in NFL PRO ERA II is the updated gameday presentation, something that Lead Game Designer (and former college football player) Alex Howell takes pride in.
“One of the biggest and best moments of my life is when I ran out of the tunnel at Jordan-Hare Stadium my freshman year at Auburn University. Hearing the crowd roar, walking with my teammates in the tunnel and finally running out was unlike anything I’d ever experienced before,” says Howell. “That’s exactly what we tried to recreate this year with our gameday presentation. As you’re walking through the tunnel, you’ll hear the boos and cheers of the crowd, depending on whether you’re the home or away team, which adds a ton of immersion that was missing from last year’s game.”
Being on the field feels livelier thanks to additional in-game chatter from both your teammates and your coach. You’ll see new weather effects like rain, sleet, and snow. Your personal Locker Room gets a refresh, and will also display your favorite team’s colors (which you select at the beginning of the game). And the in-game presentation has slick new updates as well, with huge graphics in the sky displaying team logos and scores.

The single-player career mode also gets a boost thanks to a new mechanic called Coach’s Confidence.
“Coach’s Confidence is a new progression system that tracks both the good and bad things that you do on the field. Like you would see on any football field, or in any sport, you have to prove yourself to the coach by earning his confidence,” explains Howell. “The more confidence the coach has in you, the more he’ll let you do on the field.”
At first, you won’t be able to select your play or change it on the fly with audibles. But you’ll eventually unlock those skills once you perform well enough and accumulate more Coach’s Confidence. However, if you play badly enough to lower the confidence level, you’ll end up losing those abilities again.
“Another big addition to career mode is the addition of Sideline Interactions with your teammates on the sideline. As your Coach’s Confidence grows, so does your ability to give your teammates a boost for the next drive,” adds Howell. “The more confidence you have, the more you’ll be able to interact with your teammates.”

But that’s not all: For the first time in the NFL PRO ERA franchise, you’ll be able to play full head-to-head online games against other players. And if you feel like practicing without the win-or-lose stakes, you can head over to the new free-play multiplayer mode to hang out with friends and play catch or just run drills together.
“I just want to thank our NFL PRO ERA fans. Without their help, feedback, and input, we wouldn’t have been able to create all these great new additions in NFL PRO ERA II,” says Howell. “I‘ve personally been involved in our community’s Discord and the passion they bring to the table is incredible. Their involvement with the beta was amazing, and they provided some awesome notes and comments about the game that we’re already looking forward to implementing.”
Suit up and prove that you’re the best QB in the NFL with NFL PRO ERA II on Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro.
