‘NFL PRO ERA’ is Now a New Live Service NFL VR Game, Out Now on Meta Quest

Strap on your shoulder pads and buckle your chin strap, because StatusPRO is bringing sports simulation to a whole new level this week with the debut of NFL PRO ERA as an all-new live service NFL VR game. And—for the first time ever—players will be able to line up on both sides of the ball with the debut of linebacker play on defense this year.

As expected, the debut of defensive play is the biggest highlight for 2024. You’ll be able to play on defense in solo gameplay starting today, with an update coming later this year to add head-to-head multiplayer (including defense) into the game.

If you previously bought NFL PRO ERA or NFL PRO ERA II at any point on Meta Quest, then you get the base version of the new NFL PRO ERA game for free. Additionally, the 2025 Edition: Defense is available as an add-on at a discounted price as well. StatusPRO wants to reward the longtime fans and bring together the entire player base into a unified—and more social—celebration of our favorite sport.
