Oculus @ PAX East: What to Play and Where to Find Us

PAX East kicks off today in Boston, and we’re excited to share our game plan with the VR community.

You can demo several community favorites on Rift in the VR Freeplay area from 10:00 am to 11:59 pm ET today through April 7 and again from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm ET on April 8:

We’re also giving out limited edition PAX East pins, so get your first demo in early before they run out!

If you’re in the Boston area, you can join us at Oculus Game Days from 2:00 – 8:00 pm ET on April 6. Swing by the 5th floor of 19 Drydock Avenue to demo the latest versions of Space Junkies and Vacation Simulator, compete in a 4 vs. 4 Vox Machinae mech battle, and more! No PAX badge required.

We also wanted to update you on our earlier tease of a new title from Twisted Pixel Games. We’re delaying our top secret reveal a tiny bit, but have no fear—we’ll have more to share on April 13.

Tournaments + Talks

Unleash your inner arch-mage in an urban magic fight club with The Unspoken Tournament, today from 5:00 – 8:00 pm ET, followed by a chance to soar competitively above the streets of Paris in the Eagle Flight Tournament from 8:00 – 11:00 pm ET. On April 6, you can take on rogue robots from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm ET in the Robo Recall High-Score Competition and get hands-on with the Oculus Medium Sculpting Competition from 2:00 – 5:00 pm ET.

On April 7, we’ll bring back the Eagle Flight Tournament from 5:00 – 8:00 pm ET and The Unspoken Tournament from 8:00 – 11:00 pm ET.

Stop by Room 108 at PAX East any day from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm ET to demo some action-packed Rift games. And swing by the Facebook Gaming Booth for more awesome PC games and VR demos, plus a dedicated Oculus hour tomorrow from 4:00 – 5:00 pm ET featuring a special live demo—not to mention a chance to win some hardware!* Tune into fb.com/oculusrift at 1:00 pm PT/4:00 pm ET to join the fun from home.
