Oculus at PAX West: Demos, Tournaments, and More

PAX West is one of our favorite events of the year. It’s the PAX team’s flagship event, and it’s pretty close to home for both Oculus HQ in Menlo Park and, of course, our Seattle office. Today, we’re excited to share how you can get hands-on with some of the latest and greatest games on the Oculus Platform.

VR Village
Located just a few short blocks from the Washington State Convention Center, the VR Village at the Seattle Westin hosts a range of Oculus Rift titles and experiences.

Tournament Time
We’ve got plenty of competitive play lined up, where attendees can battle it out for bragging rights—and maybe even their own Rift + Touch.*

VR Challenger League
For those ready to embrace their inner esports star, VR Challenger League is setting up shop in the Westin’s Grand Crescent Ballroom. We’ll host Echo Arena action September 1 and 2 from 12 – 10pm, with The Unspoken match-ups to follow on September 3 and 4.**

Convention Center Highlights
While there’s plenty to keep you busy in the VR Village, you won’t want to miss our devs on the show floor. Epic Games (Robo Recall), Skybound Games (Giant Cop: Justice Above All), and Ubisoft (Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Eagle Flight) each have their own booth, while Coatsink (Augmented Empire, A Night Sky, Esper), Cyan (Obduction), and Secret Location (Blasters of the Universe) will rep VR at the Indie Megabooth. Plus, don’t miss Brass Tactics at the Razer booth.
