Smart(er) Glasses: Introducing New Ray-Ban | Meta Styles + Expanding Access to Meta AI with Vision
Our second-generation smart glasses, in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, have been flying off the shelves—they’re selling out faster than we can make them. And just in time for sunglasses season, we’re expanding the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses collection with new styles designed to fit more face shapes so you can find the perfect pair. We’re also adding new features—including updates to Meta AI—to make the glasses even more social, fun, and useful.
A Frame For Every Face

Looking for a fit that gives major vintage vibes? Our new Skyler frames offer up an iconic cat eye design inspired by an era of iconic jet-set style, designed to suit smaller faces. Skyler comes in Shiny Chalky Gray with Gradient Cinnamon Pink Lenses and Shiny Black with Transitions® Cerulean Blue Lenses, which are now available for pre-order.

We’re also adding a new low bridge option for our unique Headliner frames. If your glasses tend to slide down your nose, sit too low on your face, or press on your cheeks, this is the fit for you. The Headliner low bridge fit is available for pre-order in Shiny Black with Polar G15 Lenses, and Warm Stone with Transitions® Dark Green Lenses coming soon.
There are hundreds of different custom frame and lens combinations on the Ray-Ban Remix platform, so you can mix and match to make the glasses your own on ray-ban.com. And our new styles are designed to be prescription lens compatible. 🤓 Skyler and the new Headliner low bridge fit are available for pre-order now on meta.com and ray-ban.com. These new styles are available in 15 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, and throughout Europe.

Share Your View on a Video Call
From a breathtaking vista on a hike to experiencing your kid’s first steps, there are some moments in life that are just meant to be shared. That’s why we’re adding the ability to share your view on a video call with WhatsApp and Messenger.

Whether you’re watching a legendary set from your favorite musician or mountain biking down an epic trail, now you can share it with friends and family completely hands-free. They’ll see what you see in all its uncut glory.
It’s also good for the everyday activities you can’t live without—like grocery shopping. Not sure which brand of kombucha to buy? Can’t tell if that pineapple is ripe? Now you can hop on a video call with your mom and get her advice based on what you see.
We're leading the way on video calling on smart glasses, and we can’t wait for people to try it out and let us know what they think. Video calling on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses is rolling out gradually, so if you don’t see the update right away, sit tight—it’s on the way!
Meta AI Makes Your Smart Glasses Smarter
From integrated audio to an ultra-wide 12 MP camera, Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are jam-packed with tech. And in the US and Canada, you also get Meta AI—an intelligent assistant that helps you get things done, create, and connect with the people and things you care about. Just say, “Hey Meta,” and ask away! You can control the glasses using voice commands, and thanks to Meta AI, even get access to real-time information or have your glasses crack some dad jokes.
And it keeps getting better. We started testing a multimodal AI update in December, which helps you understand the world around you by interpreting what you’re seeing as well as what you’re asking. That means you can do more with your glasses because now they can see what you see. Starting today, we’re rolling Meta AI with Vision out to all Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses in the US and Canada in beta.

Say you’re traveling and trying to read a menu in French. Your smart glasses can use their built-in camera and Meta AI to translate the text for you, giving you the info you need without having to pull out your phone or stare at a screen. Whether you’re coming up with an Instagram caption, looking for information while sight-seeing, or simply meal prepping for the week, Meta AI with Vision can help you do it hands-free.
Of course, these things take time. While it’s an exciting update, the tech is still early, so there are going to be times when Meta AI doesn’t get things quite right. As we get more feedback from people using Meta AI on their glasses and continue innovating new model architectures, we expect to see improved performance over time. In other words, it only gets better from here.
All In On AI-Powered Hardware
Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are the first AI-powered smart glasses with truly iconic name-brand style. They let you tap into all the utility, intelligence, and fun of our large language models completely hands-free—so you can easily interact with your AI assistant, sans all the typing. In fact, we’re willing to bet that Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are the best hands-free hardware with a smart AI assistant available today, period.
We nailed the form factor. Working with our partners at EssilorLuxottica, we packed a ton of tech into classic, beautiful frames that people already love wearing and that can see the world from your POV—while also letting you share that POV live with friends, family, and the world.
We’ve got awesome audio. Feel free to leave your AirPods at home. The audio on the glasses is perfect for taking calls on the go, listening to your favorite podcast, or amping yourself up with your running playlist.
We’ve got a great camera. You can capture high-quality photos and videos with the ultra-wide 12 MP camera completely hands-free, so the evidence of your exploits will be as epic as the real deal. You can even directly share photos to friends and family from your glasses with a simple “Hey Meta, send a photo” voice command.
We’re in it for the long haul. We’ve been investing in AI and metaverse technologies for over a decade, and we aren’t slowing down. AI breakthroughs are accelerating fast, and we’re excited about our product roadmap and think you will be, too.
How & Why We Build
We’re committed to building the next generation of AI-powered experiences across our apps and devices responsibly and safely. We’re routinely testing and retraining our models to help ensure that our AI features provide experiences that are safe and helpful.
We’re collaborating with organizations including NASA and the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts to give them early access to multimodal AI while in beta. This lets us better understand how they use multimodal AI features and the glasses as well as solicit feedback, helping us ensure we’re building products that people and institutions can benefit from.
With new styles and color combinations to deliver a frame for every face, support for video calling with WhatsApp and Messenger to let you share your view with friends and family, and Meta AI in the US and Canada to make your smart glasses smarter over time, the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses collection are the perfect must-have accessory, wherever your next vacay may take you.
