It’s been just shy of a month since our latest Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses update where we introduced new styles, expanded access to Meta AI with Vision in the US and Canada in beta, and added the ability to share your view on a video call with WhatsApp and Messenger. Today, we’re back with new hands-free functionality to make your Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses more useful, fun, and social than ever before. And some new styles are now available for purchase in all markets where Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are sold.
Stay Mindful With Hands-Free Access to Calm
When you’re on the go, sometimes a little peace of mind goes a long way. That’s why we’ve partnered with Calm to bring guided meditation, mindfulness exercises, and self-care content directly to your glasses, hands-free. Just say, “Hey Meta, play the Daily Calm” to unwind with a moment of mindfulness.
As an added bonus, new Calm users can unlock a complimentary three-month subscription to Calm. Simply follow the on-screen prompts in the Meta View app to get started.
Stream Your Favorite Audio With Amazon Music
From podcasts to pop hits, people love listening to their favorite albums and shows with their Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and its killer open-ear audio system. And now, you can stream Amazon Music to your smart glasses without ever having to take out your phone.
That’s right, our Amazon Music integration lets you begin streaming completely hands-free. Simply say, “Hey Meta, play Amazon Music,” and your glasses will start playing a recommended playlist curated just for you. You can then control your audio playback with touch or voice controls while your phone stays in your pocket.
Share Your (Instagram) Story
Whether you’re living your best life at a music festival, singing “Happy Birthday” at your niece’s party, or taking in breathtaking views on a hike, some moments are just meant to be shared. And now, it’s even easier for you to share from your Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses directly to your Instagram Story without needing to take out your phone.
After you snap a photo, you can simply say, “Hey Meta, share my last photo to Instagram.” Or you can say, “Hey Meta, post a photo to Instagram” to take a new photo on the fly and share the moment with your friends and followers.
