Releases Recap: February 28 – March 4
This week, we released a bunch of titles and updates across the Quest and Rift Platforms. Here’s a rundown of the highlights:
Vox Machinae
Vox Machinae is a weighty tactical simulator mixed with responsive physics-based action. Strap into the pilot seat of a gigantic fighting machine to defend your company's resources from enemies across the galaxy. Experience an epic, interplanetary singleplayer campaign alongside a ragtag crew of endearing misfits. Select your Grinder chassis and customize it with an arsenal of lasers, missiles, cannons and more as you’re pitted against rival Grinder squads in seamless 16-person multiplayer action.
Perfect For: Fans of Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister, Robo Recall: Unplugged, and Apex Construct
Developer: Space Bullet Dynamics Corporation
Available On: Quest Platform
Alex Honnold: The Soloist VR
Imagine yourself clinging to a cliff’s face, thousands of feet in the air with nothing to catch you if you fall. Free soloing—a type of technical rock climbing performed without protective equipment like ropes and harnesses—is an incredibly niche sport, undertaken at death-defying heights. For American rock climber Alex Honnold, the subject of the Academy Award®-winning documentary Free Solo, it’s a way of life. Now thanks to the immersive nature of VR, you can feel like you’re there from the comfort and safety of home with the launch of Alex Honnold: The Soloist VR, a two-part immersive documentary film available in the US on Oculus TV on the Quest Platform.
Perfect For: Fans of Tokyo Origami, The Climb 2, and BRINK Traveler
Developer: Jonathan Griffith Productions
Available On: Quest Platform

Liteboxer
Liteboxer Technologies is known for its innovative at-home exercise machine that teaches boxing techniques through a fun blend of music and synchronized lights. Now the company is bringing its gamified fitness experience to VR with Liteboxer. Similar to Liteboxer's hardware, the VR app has you hitting six circular targets to the beat of a song (known in the app as “punch tracks”). You can even put down your Touch controllers altogether because Liteboxer fully supports the Quest’s hand-tracking technology for a purer shadow boxing experience.
Perfect For: Fans of Supernatural, FitXR, and The Thrill of the Fight
Developer: Liteboxer Technologies Inc.
Available On: Quest Platform
