This week, we released a bunch of titles and updates across the Quest and Rift Platforms. Here’s a rundown of the highlights:

Virtual Virtual Reality 2
With Virtual Virtual Reality 2, Tender Claws expands the universe of the first game by having you pilot a mech through chaos and destruction in a game that’s a cross between narrative-driven comedy and thrilling platformer. Featuring a 10-hour long campaign, this is one of the zaniest games out there. You can run, jump, and boost your mech across a litany of treacherous server-scapes and even fly spaceships on your quest to capture and rescue fellow avatars in danger. As the digital landscapes collapse around you, you’ll need to also vacuum up debris, slow down time, and even use your trusty hookshot to traverse through the clouds. Do you have what it takes to overcome digital destruction before you’re logged off for good?

Perfect For: Fans of Virtual Virtual Reality, Trover Saves the Universe, and SUPERHOT VR
Developer: Tender Claws
Available On: Quest 2 // Rift Platform

POPULATION: ONE - Heartbreakers Event
Grab a loved one (or maybe just a few friends), and get ready for POPULATION: ONE’s goodies-filled Heartbreakers Event. From now until February 22, players can collect Valentine’s Day letters and deposit them in marked mailboxes to acquire new weapons to use during the match. The more letters you mail, the better your loot will be! And BigBox VR is making the Heartbreakers update extra romantic by adding POPULATION: ONE’s first-ever Duos mode. Duos lets you form two-person teams instead of the usual three-person squad, making it perfect for a thrilling date night with your significant other.

Perfect For: Fans of Onward, Echo VR, and Hyper Dash
Developer: BigBox VR, Inc.
Available On: Quest Platform // Rift Platform

Smash Drums - Drum Your Heart Out Update
Get ready to drum your heart out to six new songs! Created by great up-and-coming artists, most of whom are appearing in Smash Drums for the first time, the new songs include “Cut & Run” by Fight The Fade, “Boku No Universe” by Becko Hot Chocolate, by Young Medicine, “Sepulchre” by Daedric, “Where We Belong” by Eko, and “Still Standing” by The Anix. A revamped song selection menu is also included with this update, and it’s a game-changer—album covers, sorting by name and rating, and more.

ForeVR Bowl - Blacklight Bowling
ForeVR Bowl invites your inner ‘90s kid to roll in the brand new Blacklight Bowling mode. Five unique bowling balls now feature a special Blacklight mode effect. It’s lit! There’s also a new Optimized throw type which adds additional points of optimization over the launch-era Classic and current Default (a.k.a. “Throw 2.0”) throws. The Jukebox now features the playlists you love and help articles and creator content. And finally, the starting arsenal for new players has been updated with fan-favorite balls Rolling Gold, Beginner Blast, and Earth.

Perfect For: Fans of Premium Bowling, Walkabout Mini Golf, and Golf+
Developer: ForeVR Games Inc
Available On: Quest Platform

2MD: VR Football Unleashed - Big Game 2022 Update
Become the Receiver! Manual catching is here. Now you can live out your wide receiver dreams. Manual receiver control now features full control of the WR closest to your thrown ball seconds after the ball is released. This mode is definitely for higher-level players already familiar with the game mechanics. It’s challenging by design. (It’s also starting in beta, for now.) You’re also able to tap into the full speed of your players, as running is now faster than before. And what good is a receiver if they can’t do some fancy footwork? Exhibition games are getting a spin-juke so you have a better chance of breaking a block and scoring. Plus, we’re excited to finally target Quest 2 hardware for some incredible visual upgrades—realtime lighting and shadows, better textures, and more.

Perfect For: Fans of MVP Football - The Patrick Mahomes Experience, Sports Scramble, and Disc Ninja
Developer: Truant Pixel, LLC
Available On: Quest Platform // Rift Platform
