StatusPro Announces ‘NFL PRO ERA,’ the First Officially Licensed NFL Game for VR

Prepare to strap on your helmet, buckle your shoulder pads, and line up at the line of scrimmage for one of the most immersive ways to experience an authentic game of football yet. Last month, StatusPRO announced a partnership with the NFL to develop licensed NFL VR titles on an annual release schedule. And today during the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, they shared a first look at NFL PRO ERA, a first-person quarterback simulator coming to Quest 2 and PSVR.

StatusPRO will bring players closer to the gridiron than they’ve ever been with their cutting-edge technology to create authentic experiences using real-time player data. This is a first-person immersive look at football similar to what your favorite professional athletes see each and every Sunday.

As the first licensed NFL VR game, you’ll be able to line up alongside the world’s best players in iconic stadiums across the league. This is NFL football like you’ve never seen before.

As quarterback, you’ll be able to play a single exhibition game or a full season of football against the game’s AI. Run dozens of drills as you improve your game and status, or check out the Multiplayer Sandbox where you can pass, catch, and play challenges while hanging out with friends.
