‘Super Rumble’ Brings Free-For-All FPS Action to Meta Horizon Worlds
Towards the end of May, we held a beta weekend for a new game in Meta Horizon Worlds designed to get feedback from our community and test out new improvements and capabilities in Worlds. It was a hit with the community as players coordinated with friends for a social gaming experience. And now, the game is back. We’re excited to introduce Super Rumble.
Super Rumble is the first of many Worlds experiences to come that will showcase improvements like better graphics, deeper gameplay, and a variety of quests and rewards. These are Worlds like you’ve never seen them before (well, unless you were lucky enough to catch May’s beta weekend, in which case, these are Worlds like you’ve never seen them before—again).
Easy to learn but difficult to master, Super Rumble is a free-for-all first-person shooter for two to six players. Each match lasts five minutes for maximum fast-paced action and excitement. And it’s launching today in Worlds.
Create Your Own Combos
Outmaneuver your opponents and master your own unique playstyle. Before each session, you’ll select one of six Super Powers:
- Super Dash gives you super speed
- Super Jump lets you launch into the air with explosive force
- Super Ammo saves you from having to reload
- Super Tough reduces the damage you’ll take from each hit
- Super Net lets you immobilize other players
- Super Punch lets you attack with a powerful punch
Once you select your superpower, you’ll put it to use in an arena filled with seven distinct and powerful weapons that cater to a number of different gameplay strategies. Mix and match to keep things interesting and find your ideal fighting style.
Calling All Competitors
So many worlds are cozy, collaborative, and friendly—places to build welcoming spaces, hang out with friends, and meet new people. We love it, but we also know sometimes you just want to duke it out in a no-holds-barred battle with friends.
Super Rumble is a free-for-all shootout where you can lay your proverbial cards on the table and embrace your competitive side. Who will reign supreme and claim ownership of the map? Only time—and your skill level—will tell.

Super Rumble delivers an integrated system of player levels, quests, and rewards for a layered and engaging experience. The achievements system serves as the foundation of the quests and rewards available in-game. There are three types of rewards: avatar clothing, which you can take with you across any app linked to your Meta account, emotes that you can use throughout Worlds, and nameplate titles.
Whether you want to personalize your look to showcase your pirate-inspired aesthetic, earn bragging rights, or just chuck deuces, we’ve got you covered.
