‘Survivor: Horizon Island’ Brings the Hit CBS Original Series to Meta Quest
Outwit. Outplay. Outlast. The premise of Survivor is simple—which is perhaps one of the secrets to its staying power as it enters its 46th season: A group of strangers are marooned in a desolate location where they must strive to survive. Players compete in a series of challenges for immunity lest they be voted off the island. The hit CBS Original series made its American debut in 2000, and now fans can experience the reality show like never before with the launch of Survivor: Horizon Island in Meta Horizon Worlds on Quest.
Developed by Albyon, VRinReview, and Well Played Studios, Survivor: Horizon Island features the voice of Host & Executive Producer Jeff Probst, who will guide your way through the world. You can join a Tribe to team up with others or fly solo. Test your skills in iconic Survivor challenges, form alliances, create strategies at camp, and do your best to avoid being voted out at the tribal council.
Things kick off now with the official Launch Party, which runs through 11:59 pm PT on March 10. You can jump into the world at any time to play, hang out, and explore. And be sure to subscribe so you won’t miss any of our upcoming community events, like our weekly Wednesday play sessions, which kick off March 13 at 6:00 pm PT.
Do you have what it takes to become the ultimate Sole Survivor?
