‘VR Games Showcase’ June 2026 Recap: Every Meta Quest VR Game Announcement

It's the summer, which means we just got a new VR Games Showcase to catch us up on all the big new releases and major updates headed our way, as well as give some reveals of new games to get excited over. There was a whole lot to take in, and if you missed it, you can watch the show right here or embedded below.

This VR Games Showcase came with closer looks at some titles that loom large on the horizon. Headlining the show was a full developer direct with new details about four-player heist shooter PAYDAY: Aces High, which is set to bring the thoughtful planning and intense action of the flatscreen series to VR. We also got a quick new look at the ridiculous shooter action of Hotdogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades 2, also known as H3VR. And of course, the showcase brought some major reveals, including Breachers: Outbreak, The Rifted Skies, and Transformers: Beyond Reality Redux, as well as some major updates to fan-favorites.

Below, we've rounded up every Meta Quest game in the showcase to bring you up to speed on everything that's coming to the Meta Horizon Store, arranged in alphabetical order.

Augmental-Puzzles | Flammable Penguins Games | Update Trailer

If you can't get enough brain-teasing puzzles, Augmental-Puzzles is for you. The new update to the puzzler adds nonograms to the mix, augmenting its already deep offering of Sudoku challenges. The nonograms update is available today, and you can grab Augmental-Puzzles for free in Early Access on the Meta Horizon Store right now.

Bamboo Grove | LingYouth | Release Date Trailer

Horror game Bamboo Grove begins with you play-testing a new VR games — until you realize that you're trapped within the game, even after you remove your headset. Developer LingYouth provided a new look at Bamboo Grove's gameplay and world at the VR Games Showcase with a new trailer that also lets us know we can expect the game to hit Meta Quest in September.

Beat the Beats | Parallel Circles | Update Trailer

Get your body moving and create your own rhythm game action with Beat the Beats' new update. It allows you to add custom tracks and create your own beat-punching levels, and it's available right now. You can check out Beat the Beats in the Meta Horizon Store, or try the game's free demo before you buy.

Breachers: Outbreak | Triangle Factory | Reveal Trailer

Triangle Factory announced a new riff on its hit shooter Breachers: Outbreak, this time focusing on cooperative extraction gameplay as players team up to take on hordes of infected creatures. You and three other friends drop into a quarantine zone overrun with monsters, in hopes of finding Patient X and escaping the battlefield to ultimately put an end to the infection. Breachers: Outbreak doesn't have a set release date, but it's slated to hit Meta Quest sometime in 2026.

Bullet Time Agent | Studio CyFi, Lazuka Labs | Gameplay Trailer

Bullet Time Agent is a fast-paced single-player sci-fi shooter in the "bullet hell" genre, overloading your senses with a huge number of projectiles that you'll have to deftly dodge if you want to stay alive. A new trailer at the VR Games Showcase highlights Bullet Time Agent's intense shooter gameplay, as well as what looks to be a deep and involved story. It's headed to Meta Quest in Winter 2026.

Dagger Woods VR | Paracosm Studio | Gameplay Trailer

Dagger Woods VR is a narrative horror game that's inspired by true events and legends of Nova Scotia, Canada. At the VR Games Showcase, developer Paracosm Studio dropped a gameplay trailer that showed off the escape room gameplay at the heart of Dagger Woods VR, while suggesting more of the story players will uncover when it launches later this summer on Meta Quest.

Daumier: Lila & Ghost | Prism Games | Gameplay Trailer

Work together with a friend to solve puzzles and uncover the secrets of Lila's family in Daumier: Lila & Ghost. The paranormal adventure sends you to the Daumier Art Gallery, where you and a friend take on the roles of Lila and her ghost companion to venture into the paintings and uncover their mysteries. You can check out Daumier: Lila & Ghost's gameplay in the trailer above, and then wishlist it on the Meta Horizon Store.

DRIFTERS: Blackout Crew | Salmi Games | Reveal Trailer

Another big reveal during the VR Games Showcase was DRIFTERS: Blackout Crew, a cooperative extraction shooter that will pit you and your squad against computer-controlled enemies in pitched firefights. You'll delve into alien temples in search of resources and treasures, but you'll always have to balance the rewards you might find against the risk of falling in battle and losing everything.

Exoshock | PolarityOne | Gameplay Trailer

We got a fresh look at PolarityOne's intense shooter Exoshock, this time focusing on cooperative multiplayer that's set to hit the game for Founders Edition owners in July. Exoshock sports tactical combat against artificially intelligent enemies that respond to your moves and strategies, forcing you to adapt. Get a look at all the powerful weapons and frightening enemies you'll face in Exoshock's latest gameplay trailer.

Guardians Planetfall | VirtualAge | Closed Beta Trailer

A closed beta is coming to cooperative shooter Guardians Planetfall, and developer VirtualAge dropped a fun and intense new trailer in celebration. In your four-player squad, you'll use a variety of powerful weapons to battle aliens, robots, and all sorts of exotic creatures as you fight for humanity's interests across the galaxy. Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades 2 | RUST LTD. | Behind-the-Scenes Trailer

Take on the roll of a sentient hot dog wielding all sorts of weapons in shooter Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades 2. You'll fight through an endless megastructure filled with other gun-toting hot dogs, using a huge arsenal of weapons as you battle to gather loot and escape the megastructure with whatever you can carry. The VR Games Showcase gave a new look behind the scenes at H3VR2, previewing elements like the game's gunplay, its melee combat system, its physical comedy, and more.

Inwigo | Dirty Pearl Studios | Launch Trailer

Developer Dirty Pearl Studios dropped a spooky surprise during the VR Games Showcase: a four-player cooperative horror game called Inwigo that's both free and available to play right now. You and your friends play children exploring frightening locales like a creepy carnival and haunted manor, all while avoiding creepy creatures that adapt to how you play.

The Lightkeepers | Spectral Games SA | Release Date Trailer

Defend a lighthouse against eldritch horrors streaming out of the sea each night in cooperative shooter The Lightkeepers. We got a deeper look at The Lightkeepers at VR Games Showcase, explaining how you'll explore various islands to gather gear and weapons during the day, so that you can stand against the forces of darkness at night. The Lightkeepers is set to release on September 10 on Meta Quest.

Maestro | Double Jack | Update Trailer

Big updates are coming to rhythm game Maestro — a new, free Attack On Titan pack, and second update, the details of which haven't yet been revealed. Maestro tasks you with conducting an orchestra, keeping time with the music while also directing each section at key moments, and it already has a great library of classical songs. That library expands with two new Attack On Titan tracks, plus more to come later this year.

Nomsters | Squido Studio | Reveal Trailer

Nomsters is a free-to-play pet collector in which you open loot boxes to discover adorable creatures, each with their own abilities. You can hang out with both your pet friends and your real friends, trade your collected creatures, and more. Learn more on the Nomsters Discord server.

Outlanders VR | Mucho Games | Teaser Trailer

Townbuilder Outlanders VR gives you a cozy world to inhabit, as you create a nice place to live for your townsfolk. You'll build structures for them to live in, develop the world to upgrade their living conditions, and help them thrive in a variety of situations, all at your own pace. Outlanders VR is set to release in Winter 2026 on Meta Quest, but you can get a quick look at its gameplay right now.

PAYDAY: Aces High | Fast Travel Games | Developer Direct

Grab some friends and plan your big score in PAYDAY: Aces High, the first entry in the hit PAYDAY series to come to VR. You play one of up to four criminals who have to work together to plan a heist, case the joint, infiltrate, and make off with the goods. The VR Games Showcase ended with a deep-dive look at PAYDAY: Aces High that showed off how the series has changed in its leap to VR, and what new cooperative action it'll offer players when they pull on their masks.

Primal Rumble | Play XD | Closed Beta Trailer

Build a deck of ridiculous creatures and battle it out in Primal Rumble. This deck-building monster battler leans into the hilarious as you build a fighting force of goofy monsters to take on other players. Developer Play XD revealed an upcoming closed beta for the VR card game with its latest trailer, and you can sign up to take part in the Primal Rumble Discord server.

R.A.I.D. | Fusion Play | Gameplay Reveal Trailer

The job seems simple enough in sci-fi shooter R.A.I.D.: as a customs enforcer on a space station, your job is to inspect cargo for contraband. When you discover something illegal, though, you can board massive ships to take the fight to the criminals, either alone or with up to four other players. We got a quick new taste of R.A.I.D.'s gameplay at the VR Games Showcase, and you can wishlist it now on the Meta Horizon Store.

The Rifted Skies | DreamVR | Reveal Trailer

The Rifted Skies is a first-person parkour roguelite that has you running on walls and flying through the air as you move as fast as you can to take down enemies. With each new run, you'll choose different abilities, upgrades, and weapons to change how you play and gain an advantage over the dark forces awaiting you. The Rifted Skies is headed to Meta Quest in Fall 2026.

Roar | Squido Studio | Reveal Trailer

Ever wanted to soar through the skies as a fire-breathing dragon? In Roar, that's the whole point — except you can do it with friends, too. You'll explore floating islands and strange locales as you take to the skies and change forms. Roar is a free-to-play social game that's set to hit Meta Quest this winter.

Salmon Man | Valem Studio | Update Trailer

Starting in July, you'll be able to play physics platformer Salmon Man — in which you play a pink man in a barrel, trying to make it upstream with nothing but a paddle for leverage — with friends. Developer Valem Studio announced a multiplayer update for its lighthearted platformer, giving you a chance to fight the current with up to four friends. The update also adds a whole new map to challenge you. Salmon Man is available now on Meta Quest.

Skeleton Crew | 1A3M Studio | Reveal Trailer

You're trapped in Pirate Purgatory in Skeleton Crew, but luckily, a pirate's afterlife is as good as a pirate's life. You can sail the seas in search of treasure, battle with swords and pistols, or even engage in ship-to-ship combat — and you can do so either alone or with a friend. Skeleton Crew is available in Early Access today on Meta Quest 3, so you can lower the sails or walk the plank right now.

Sol Protocol | Singular Perception S.R.L. |Release Date Trailer

Team up with friends to crew a ship and adventure through space in Sol Protocol. You and your pals will take on distinct roles with specific tasks — such as Pilot, Gunner, and Captain — to maintain your vessel and keep yourselves alive. Explore the cosmos to gather resources, and battle enemy spaceships to stop them from stealing everything you've earned. Sol Protocol comes to Meta Quest this September.

Transformers: Beyond Reality Redux | meta4Interactive | Reveal Trailer

Transformers: Beyond Reality Redux makes its way to Meta Quest for the first time, letting you take the fight to the Decepticons and fight alongside the Autobots in a spectacular rail shooter. With Beyond Reality Redux, developer meta4Interactive is adding new features for the game's Meta Quest release, expanding on the experience in all new ways. Look for Transformers: Beyond Reality Redux to hit the Meta Horizon Store on September 3.

Trombone Champ: Unflattened! | Flat2VR Studios, Holy Wow Studios | Update Trailer

Get ready to take your tooting to Andy's bedroom and under the sea in Trombone Champ: Unflattened! with the upcoming Disney Movie Magic Vol. 1 song pack, set to hit the game in July. The pack brings six Disney songs to the rhythm game: Part of Your World and Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid, You've Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story, A Whole New World from Aladdin, Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast, and Circle of Life from The Lion King. You'll also get two new performance locations, one from Toy Story and the other from The Little Mermaid. And with Trombone Champ: Unflattened! currently available as part of Meta Horizon+, it's a great time to grab a subscription and download the game ahead of its new song pack.

VRacer Hoverbike | Vertex Breakers | Update Trailer

Speedy racing game VRacer Hoverbike has another big update coming, following the recent release of its track editor that gave creative power to its players to make their own races. Developer Vertex Breakers' next update adds a new free bike for players to earn, alongside a new Supporter Pack players can buy with additional cosmetic upgrades. We also got a glimpse of the first premium tracks that'll soon come to the game. VRacer Hoverbike is available on the Meta Horizon Store.

Wizherd | Squido Studio | Update Trailer

In Wizherd, you adventure through fantastical dungeons filled with dangerous creatures, both alone or with friends. To even the odds, you can wield powerful magic, slinging spells for defense and offense to conquer the dungeons stretching out before you. Wizherd's latest update brings a new BackRealms Boss to the world for you to take down. It's currently available for free in Early Access on Meta Quest.
