Explore Atlantis (and Ride a Whale) in the Latest ‘Walkabout Mini Golf’ Lost Cities Course

In Plato’s Timaeus, he wrote that the island of Atlantis “disappeared in the depths of the sea.” But for some reason the revered philosopher failed to mention the world-class mini golf course that went with it.

Today Walkabout Mini Golf releases Atlantis, the fourth course in Mighty Coconut’s “Lost Cities” series. Was it built by the ancient Atlanteans? By the gods themselves? Impossible to say, but having explored the Gardens of Babylon, Shangri-La, and El Dorado, it’s now time to travel deep beneath the waves and uncover this whimsical ruin-turned-coral-reef and its flourishing inhabitants.

No, not the Atlanteans, they’re long gone. But the ocean teems with life here! Take a moment between holes and admire the several hundred fish swimming through the city’s marble ruins, or take a more active approach and hop on a humpback whale, sea turtle, stingray, or shark for a ride that would make Poseidon (or as Mighty Coconut calls him, “Sea Daddy”) jealous. Don’t worry—the notoriously vengeful sea god only makes an appearance here as a colossal statue.

Atlantis gets even more otherworldly at night, with the unlockable Hard Mode transforming the ancient ruins into a bioluminescent wonderland. It’s a gorgeous and serene backdrop to one of the most challenging Walkabout Mini Golf courses to-date. Look closely, and you might even find some long-lost treasures of the deep…
