Congrats to the Webby Nominees! Cast a Vote for Your Faves
Voting for the 29th Annual Webby Awards People’s Voice is underway, and this year, there’s a bunch of Meta Quest-related content vying for your vote! We’ve rounded up the relevant categories and contenders below, so click through and help out your faves.
But first, we’d be remiss if we didn’t shout out the Horizon team for some special recognition. In 2024, when we opened up worlds to preteens, we invested in new built-in protections for them and features for their parents. Features like a new worlds rating system, parent access controls, and the ability to add approved contacts ensure preteens can have the best possible experience as they move across age-appropriate worlds. We also created new educational materials to help parents configure settings for the best experience for their children. This was a culmination of efforts with parents and youth organizations. We’re extremely proud to announce that, as a result, we’ve been named a 2025 Webby awards honoree for this work across both the “Best Practices” and “Responsible Innovation” categories. While we’ll continue to incorporate feedback from parents and outside organizations as our product evolves, we're grateful for this recognition.
