What to Play on Meta Quest: April 2026 Recap
Meta Quest is home to all sorts of new titles and developments in VR gaming. Each month, we see new games hit the Meta Horizon Store, alongside big updates and new content for old favorites, and sometimes, it can be hard to keep up with it all. We’ve got you covered — here’s what you need to know about the games and updates that hit the Meta Horizon Store in April. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City
Run across the rooftops of New York City and take on the Foot Clan as the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in their first foray in VR. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City, you can play as any of the four Turtles, or team up with three other players in co-op. Use the brothers’ signature weapons, along with all sorts of other gadgets and ninja tools, to stop the Foot Clan’s civil war from tearing apart the city in the aftermath of the death of The Shredder. Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes
Acclaimed horror-adventure series Little Nightmares takes on an entirely new, frightening perspective with its jump to virtual reality in Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes. As in previous Little Nightmares games, you play a small child trapped in the strange world of twisted, horrific adults. Thanks to Altered Echoes’ first-person perspective, however, the terror is more immersive, as you find yourself playing a small person in a big world, hunted by giant threats. Beat Saber — The Prodigy Music Pack
Rhythm sensation Beat Saber is constantly adding new music to get your heart racing as you slice and dice along to the beat. Its latest addition is The Prodigy Music Pack, a set of six new songs from the legendary electronic act The Prodigy. Featuring tracks such as “Firestarter,” “Invaders Must Die,” and “Breathe,” the set brings exciting new levels that are great for getting you up and moving, and will seriously test you if you love chasing high scores. Squad up to survive in extraction shooter Ghosts of Tabor, which pits you and your teammates against other players and the environment, as you fight for loot and scrounge for supplies to manage elements like hunger and thirst. Ghosts of Tabor’s Wipe update adds new features, including additional weapons and attachments to give you new offensive elements, a new Info system, and new cosmetics to deck yourself out with — alongside balance changes and quality-of-life improvements.
Golf+ — Multiplayer Practice updates
Hit the links alone or with friends in Golf+, a golf simulator that offers a whole lot of free and paid courses for you to drive and putt through. Golf+ has been a heap of new content hit the game in 2026, with more than 12 new courses planned across the whole year. The latest addition is a new multiplayer practice lobby that lets you and your friends warm up before you hit the tee. Golf+ also recently added a new original course, Dynasty, which is set high above the clouds and mixes vistas of dramatic cliffs with ancient Chinese terraces and stone temples.
In UG, you’ll hatch, care for, and eventually ride your very own dinosaur. Once it’s big enough, you can take your dino pal out with your friends to explore a sandbox world, or compete with other players. UG’s latest updates reimagine the Boneyard map, with new layouts and hazards for Ultimate Glove Ball players to deal with. The game also has new cosmetics to help you express yourself, and new competitive Xenodon and PrUGator-themed elements that shake up UG’s gameplay.
Yeeps is a massive sandbox game that offers a huge world to explore, and eight game modes to take on with other players — whether you want to compete in classics like Prop Hunt, or work together to make the world your own in Creative Mode. With its Superhero Update, Yeeps adds the ability to supercharge items, which can then be used to give yourself superpowers that unlock all sorts of new gameplay capabilities. Power yourself up with the ability to create blasts of lightning and deadly lasers, or zap across the world at super-speed.
