December is here, and with it comes the holidays and, for many, a little time off. If you’re looking for a way to spend it, Meta Quest has plenty of immersive entertainment for you to check out while staying nice and warm inside. Each month, we bring you some of our favorite picks, so keep an eye on the blog for future updates.

The much-anticipated Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters on December 19, but you can get a glimpse of the movie’s return to Pandora right now. As part of our partnership with Director James Cameron’s Lightstorm Studios, we’ve got a new, exclusive 3D clip of the film you can only watch during December, and only on Meta Quest. It joins the first exclusive 3D clip we released during Connect. You can also watch both 3D trailers (here and here) in headset with Meta Horizon TV — then, go see the movie!

On December 30 at 11 am PT / 7 pm GMT, Coldplay will take over the new Arena in Meta Horizon with Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour: An Immersive Experience, a free event produced in partnership with iHeartMedia. Fans can get amazing views of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour, exclusively via the Meta Horizon mobile app on iOS and Android and in VR on Meta Quest. RSVP now to receive updates ahead of the event.

This is your chance to experience Coldplay hits including “Yellow,” “Fix You,” “Viva La Vida,” “A Sky Full Of Stars,” and “feelslikeimfallinginlove” like never before. Get closer to the action than you’d ever thought possible, feeling the energy of their performance as you take in the breathtaking spectacle — no matter where you happen to be.

The holidays have arrived, and the Party Planning Committee would like to direct you to take part in some company approved fun at Dunder Mifflin. All through December, you can jump into The Office World for its Christmas Takeover, with a host of new minigames to play and surprises to enjoy, provided you’re still completing all work during business hours. Hurry up and take part, before Christmas is cancelled!

It’s all leading up to this. NBA teams have battled throughout December to solidify their place in history, but only two teams will survive for a chance to take the Emirates Cup in 2025. Don’t miss a second of the action, intensity, and drama of the NBA Emirates Cup Championship. Watch the finals on December 16 on Prime.

Head for New Vegas with the return of Fallout, the post-nuclear series based on one of the greatest video games of all time. Set 200 years after the apocalypse, the story follows Lucy (Ella Purnell), a dweller of an underground shelter known as a Vault, as she heads to the surface and meets the people who live there — including Maximus (Aaron Moten), a member of the technology-hoarding faction called as the Brotherhood of Steel, and a ruthless bounty hunter known as The Ghoul (Walton Goggins). Season Two takes the action to a post-apocalyptic version of Las Vegas, as Lucy and the Ghoul search for Lucy’s father. The eight-episode Fallout Season Two run kicks off at 6 p.m. ET on December 16, with new episodes every Wednesday on Prime.

Spend Christmas on the gridiron! If you’re a football fan, you won’t want to miss the Denver Broncos take on the Kansas City Chiefs, an AFC West rivalry that could have a big impact on the playoffs. The Chiefs host the Broncos starting at 8:15 p.m. ET on December 25. You can watch it as part of Thursday Night Football on Prime.

The NFL brings an expanded holiday slate of Week 17 games, and you can catch a key one when the Baltimore Ravens face the Green Bay Packers during the Peacock Holiday Exclusive primetime game on December 27. Expect this clash to have playoff implications, making it a great way to spend a winter Saturday evening. Catch the game at 7:30 p.m. ET December 27 on Peacock.

What if everything you see, hear, and say can be spied on by the enemy? That’s the predicament facing intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Simu Liu), after it’s revealed that a device in his brain has been hacked. Recruited by his shadowy agency to find the hackers, Hale has to maintain a constant, 24/7 performance so the perpetrators won’t be tipped off, playing both sides in order to clear his name and prove his allegiance. The series premieres on December 27 on Peacock.
