Rebellion’s popular shooter franchise that famously pits players against flesh-eating, ravenous monstrosities from the World War II era is coming to VR officially for the first time ever.

If you’re familiar with the franchise, then it’s helpful to know that Zombie Army VR takes place after the events of Zombie Army Trilogy in which Zombie Hitler has already been defeated. However, Europe is still in chaos as zombies continue to ravage their way across the continent. In this new game, you’ll take on the role of a Deadhunter as you set out to track down and eliminate zombie war criminals.

Zombie Army VR features a brand-new storyline to play through either alone or with a friend in two-player co-op. All of the game’s weaponry is modeled to look, sound, and feel like their real life counterparts with intense gunplay and pulse-pounding set piece moments. The team has of course retained the over-the-top zany attitude that made the original series so popular with an arcade-style combo system, player progression to keep track of, and even high score leaderboards as well.
