Leave your mark
Together with a team of skaters, we turned a 9:16 frame into a mini-ramp to prove skateboarding is an art and a Reel is its canvas
When product demos and real-world experiences prove to be the single biggest driver of advertiser investment, the brief is clear: make people feel something they can't get from a screen. For Meta's Cannes 2025 activation, we created Leave Your Mark: a short film built on the insight that skating was never a sport, it's an art form.
The film follows a single, unbroken skate session on a mini-ramp built to fill the 9:16 Reels frame — then hands that footage to skater-artists from around the world who reinterpret every trick through animation, stop-motion, illustration, and collage. Working with skaters helped make this a multimedia collaboration rooted in a culture that's always been DIY.
Shot on Ray-Ban Meta and crafted natively for Reels, it anchored the Reels Skate Park at Meta Beach — and helped drive a +15% lift in attendance YOY and a +386% video completion rate versus benchmark.
