The Doomsday Legion Invades ‘Asgard’s Wrath 2’ in the Latest Cosmic Event
Despite our best efforts, Loki Anomalies continue to spread through the multiverse—and now there’s a new problem. Surtur’s armies have figured out how to harvest Loki Anomalies and use the resulting energy to create a new army of monsters.

The award-winning Asgard’s Wrath 2 pits you against The Doomsday Legion in its latest time-limited Cosmic Event. Tears in the fabric of the universe must be mended, not exploited. It falls on you to confront the rogue forces toying with powers beyond their comprehension and contain this menace before the unthinkable happens.
An unsettling rumor has reached your ears, though. It seems that one of the foes you must face is…yourself? This month’s Cosmic Objectives and Conquests include:
- Defeat the Surtur enemies within a Loki Anomaly before they harvest its energy.
- Cleanse the Loki Anomaly generating Undead enemies in the Dead Expanse.
- Harvest 30 silver ore to hinder the rogue forces’ experiments.
- Hunt down and destroy a rumored clone of yourself near Sobek’s Palace.
Bring an end to The Doomsday Legion and you’ll earn unique rewards for your efforts—including the Chasmata Blade, Chasmata Axe, and Chasmata Disk, a trio of weapons touched by the cosmos themselves. It’s said, for instance, that the Chasmata Axe once tore a hole in the sky. A suitable weapon for a god.
Battling Surtur’s forces can also earn you the Surtur’s Sentinel armor set, burning with the barely-contained flames of Muspelheim, as well as the nigh-impenetrable Black Death set, unconventional armor reinforced with technology from another dimension.
You’ll be closing up a lot of Loki Anomalies during The Doomsday Legion, so just a reminder that MR-powered Loki Anomalies are available on Meta Quest 3. Safeguard the entire universe—including your own living room. And you can still receive Asgard’s Wrath 2 for free with the purchase of a new Meta Quest 3 headset through the end of June.*
If you want more info on The Doomsday Legion and its various challenges, open up Asgard’s Wrath 2 and look for “Cosmic Events” in the news feed. And the sooner, the better! Cosmic Events run for a limited time, so if you want any of the above rewards (or just want to help protect the multiverse from Surtur’s hatred), the clock is ticking.
*See child safety guidance online; Meta Accounts are for 10+. Asgard’s Wrath 2 is for ages 17+. Bundle offer ends 6/30/24. Terms apply.
